Mary Did You Know

This month the Word challenge at Nuts 4 Digi is to share our favourite Christmas Carol/song. There are a lot that I enjoy but this one stands out. I have shared the first and last verse on this digital page. This song is special to me because of the time I acted the part of Mary at the Cross during Christmas the Full Story which used to be a yearly enactment of the life of Jesus Christ held by the combined Churches of my town leading up to Christmas. This song played in the background of the scene I acted in. Playing the part of Mary witnessing the death of her son and listening to the words of this song made me realise how much pain and confusion Mary would have felt.
I will share a Utube of the song.

Garden Layout and Free Word Art

This is a layout I put together for a Sketch Challenge at Nuts 4 Digi which is my favourite Digital Scrapbooking forum. This is also a page for a challenge I am taking part in called Project 52 where you do a layout about something that happens in your life each week of the year. This is for Week 40 and features my husband and the vegetable garden he has started. The potato plants are doing very well.

The Word Art on this page was created using a flower brush by Just Passin Thru and you can find the brush in the Nuts 4 Digi store HERE.

If you really like my word art you can download the PNG file HERE

Spring - A FREE Digital Kit

This month over at Nuts 4 Digi , I am hosting the Art Challenge using a piece of art painted by my daughter, Ruth Hofer. I decided to Design a small kit to give away using the colours from the painting and as my daugher named the painting " Spring" I have also named my kit that name.
If you click HERE or on the preview you can download the two files for my kit.

Now if you pop over to Nuts 4 Digi you can take up my challenge and receive another little mini kit by another designer. N4D is a great forum to be part of. The challenges are all great and for each challenge you complete each month you receive a mini kit which if you do all the challenges becomes a great bigger kit.

14th July - Wordless Wednesday

Last time I remembered to take a photo for Wordless Wednesday I photographed the sky looking like rain coming. Today it is raining.... these are the raindrops on my husbands car.

Wordless Wednesday

This is a photo I just took in our backyard showing the heavy winterly clouds ( yes it is winter here in Australia ). Today has been one of those days that it has stayed just about the same temperature all day.

Rainbows - a new kit designed by A-M

This is the largest Digital Scrapbooking kit I have yet designed. I like bright colours and I do like Rainbows ( the sign that shows God keeps His promises ).

I designed this kit for a free give-away at my favourite digital store - Nuts 4 Digi so if you would like this kit you can visit the store HERE
and obtain it. It would be nice if you have a look around at the other lovely kits and products available in the store... go ahead and do some shopping.

Also if you want some inspiration and something else for free, go to the forum at Nuts 4 Digi and check out the Colour Challenge for June as the challenge is to use my kit. Then if you complete the challenge you will receive a little part of a very nice kit called "Chill".

Wordless Wednesday

When I remember to I am going to try and take part in the Wordless Wednesday - photography.

This is a photo taken just minutes ago of the wheel of the car I drive as my husband is working on the brakes for this car. I just liked the way the bright light is shining from the corner and the rags and sawdust on the floor below.

Pretty Bubbles - a mini kit by A-M

This is a little mini kit I designed myself. The credits are in the Terms of Use which are included in the downloads.

There are two files to download. Part 2 is only the Text Path so if you prefer to only download Part 1 that is okay. Part 2 is a fairly large file. Instructions for how to use the Text Path for PSE and Photoshop are included in the file. I am unsure if it will work in other software.

Here is the link to the folder where you can download the two files:

Pretty Bubbles

The inspiration for designing this kit was a Colour challenge on the forum of Nuts 4 Digi and also the photos of my granddaughter shown on the layout I put together using this kit as you can see below.

Please if you do download my little kit I would appreciate a comment added to my Blog here, thankyou.

Bubbles

This layout was put together using a mini kit I have designed myself.
We were given a challenge at Nuts 4 Digi for this month's Colour Challenge to use a swatch which consisted of three colours - pink, lilac and cream.
I decided to make my own little kit to use as I wanted to use these photos of my granddaughter taken on Christmas night 2009. I did not already have a kit which had bubbles in it. This was a fun little kit to design.

I will share the mini kit in my next post.
