BIRDS - Ecclesiastes 9:12

I am a great admirer of birds and  often take photos of the wild birds that visit our backyard. One of my favourites is the King Parrot  so the colours in the kit I designed is based on colours in a photo of a King Parrot. This photo was taken at an Australian Zoo in 2018.  Because I enjoy seeing birds in the wild I do not really like to see birds kept in cages which is why I created the word art in my kit.

I hope you all enjoy this kit as I enjoyed working with my chosen colours. This month is the last time I will be sharing templates to give away.  I am busy with other commitments and needed to cut back on something.
p.s. to this last statement.... if I can find the time I will continue to do a template each month.

Father - Psalm 68:5

With this month being the month that in the USA Father's Day is celebrated I chose "Father" as the theme for my kit to give away.
The scripture - Psalm 68:5 is one that years ago I shared with a lady struggling with being a single parent. She found great encouragement in this scripture.  So my prayer is that maybe someone who visits my blog to download this kit and template will also find encouragement in the fact that our Heavenly Father is a father to the fatherless and protector of widows ( also motherless and widowers).

I  hope you enjoy the kit I designed with a male theme:

Mother - John 19:27

My kit this month has the theme "Mother" and the scripture I chose is the words Jesus spoke to John as He ( our Lord and Saviour) died on the cross. He was thinking of his mother, Mary as he died and took responsibility of  her care in handing her over to the care of His beloved disciple, John.
There are times in our lives that we are drawn to an older woman who is not our biological mother - she may be an older lady in our Church or a neighbour. These precious older women become very much a blessing to us. I had such lady in a Church my husband and I used to worship at. She went home to the Lord before we stopped attending that Church. The moment I met her I felt drawn to her and over the years we had before she went home, I found her such an encouragement to me in her attitude to her life and her love for Jesus.  I will be sharing a page about someone who is now an "other mother" to me.

In my kit I have included word art for different types of mothers - "mother in law "  "Step mother" and "other mother".

If you are looking for a friendly but quiet digital scrapbooking forum to enjoy some challenges and would like to obtain the bonus prizes of a set of word art and a mini kit which match my "Mother" kit come over to Oh Snap Lets Scrap and become a member.  You can find  the forum HERE.
Each month I host a Template challenge, a Slow Scrap Challenge and a Photo Swap Challenge.

RISEN - Matthew 28:6

This month being the month we have holidays for Good Friday and Easter Sunday, I have created a kit with the theme of our Risen Lord.  It is not the bunnies or the chocolate eggs we should be concentrating on. We should keep our minds on the event in history that really did take place on a hill called "Golgotha" and then 3 days later an empty tomb.
The cross we display in our homes or our jewellery should be an empty cross. Our Lord is no longer nailed to that cross, He is RISEN.  We serve a risen, alive saviour. He died so we can be forgiven and He came alive to show us that eternal life is real.

I hope you enjoy the kit and template I have designed for this month.

LILIES - MATTHEW 6:28

For this month with it being the start of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere I thought I would create a flower themed kit to share.

During my courtship with my husband we would exchange letters and love notes. One time I used pretty paper on which there were flowers so I included in my note Matthew 6:28.  My dear sweetheart thought I was telling him the message that he had too much concern for his clothing which was far from the truth as his wardrobe was very minimal.  So I need to help him understand I just wanted to share a scripture that spoke about the beauty of flowers.

I hope you enjoy my template and kit.  I have carried over the Lilac colour from the Friendship kit so some of the papers and elements will work together.

Friendship - Proverbs 27:9

Most of the time when we think of February we think of Valentine's Day with lots of red hearts etc.
I decided for my kit to give away this month I would concentrate on a different form of love - not romantic love - friendship love.

I hope you all enjoy what I have created and I carried over one colour from last month's "New"  Kit which is the pale aqua green so some papers and elements you may be able to  use on the same  page you are creating.  I plan on carrying over a colour from this month to what I design for March.

Here is the template I created:
