Give Thanks - Scripture Kit

I chose "Give Thanks" for this month's kit as this is the month in the USA that Thanksgiving is celebrated.

 There are so many verses in the Bible with the words "Give Thanks". I used only two of them in kit for you this month.

It is so important for us to be thankful. I am sure each day we could find even just one small happening in that day that we can be thankful for.

 My husband and I financially support Barnabas Fund which is an organisation that helps the persecuted Christians throughout the world. We receive a booklet of daily prayers and so often after my husband reads the daily reading I am so thankful to live in the country that I do.  I am not really persecuted for  my faith at all  ( even though it has caused a rift in my family). There are so  many Christians losing their lives or being jailed because they have stood up for who they believe in. 

May those who read this, find something big or small to be thankful for today.

Scripture Kit - Change - 1 Samuel 15:29

 When thinking about what theme and scripture to use for this month, I came across this verse and thought about how important it is to know that our wonderful Heavenly Father, the only true God never changes.

We might change but He does not.  His promises are firm and we can so boldly claim them for ourselves because that is what He wants us to do. 

Now I hope you enjoy what I have put together for this kit. I enjoyed creating it.  I will make time this month to upload some mini kits I designed to match some larger ones I have given away in the past.

Scripture Kit - Strong Tower - Proverbs 18:10

Sometime early in August in a devotion I was reading I read the scripture I used for my Strong Tower kit.

The name of our Lord is so powerful. It is in His ( Jesus) name that we approach our Heavenly Father. It is in His  name we have victory in our lives when Satan attacks us. 

I decided to add some masculine embellishments to this kit so there is not many feminine colours other than the flowers and a bow.  I hope this kit brings you, who use it many blessings.

Scripture Kit - Trust Him

 On the display on my desk where I work on my computer is the scripture - Psalm 9:10  Those who know the Lord trust Him. He will not leave those who come to Him.

There are so many scriptures that remind us that our Lord God will never leave those who trust in Him. This is such a comfort in difficult times.
