I admire Ruth for her loyalty to her mother-in-law and how God used this woman in His future plan on salvation as Ruth was the grandmother of King David who was a descendant of our Lord Jesus Christ. The story of Ruth tells the story of a kinsman redeemer in Boaz and Jesus became our kinsmen redeemer when He became a man and died in our place.
The name Ruth has as its meaning.... Loyal Friend.
