For the next five months including this one I am creating small kits with the theme of the Beatitudes which are found in the gospel of Matthew chapter 5. I will be using the same colour palette for all these small kits so once you have them all they will together become a large collection.
Here are the colours I am using:
Some months I will include a theme to match what that month is about. For example with Mother's Day being this month I have included in this months kit some things suitable for scrapbook pages about mothers.
This month I have chosen the theme "Comfort" from Matthew 5:4 - Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted. My husband is reading books by Max Lucado and he suggested I share something that Max wrote about the different beatitudes so this paragraph is taken from The Applause of Heaven by Max Lucado:
But when you mourn, when you get to the point of sorrow for your sins, when you admit that you have no other option but to cast all your cares on Him, and when there is truly no other name that you can call, then cast all your cares on Him, for Jesus is waiting in the midst of the storm.
