More CT work for Digi-ridoo Scraps

This is a Mini Album I made for my mother for Mother's Day using a kit called SpringVille by LouCee Creations and you can find this lovely kit HERE

Now a page using the same Kit but also a Template By Scrap-a-Holic Designs which is due in the store on the 17th of this month.

CT Work for Digi-ridoo Scraps

This was a fun card to make. I used a HUGE Collab kit called ROBOTICA which is avialable at Digi-ridoo Scraps this month ( May 2011) for free with any purchase over $5.00 - go check it out HERE

This page was also made using the Robotic kit and the photos are of my step-grandson, Brice. The template used for the page is by Scrap-a-Holic Designs and was free for doing this page as it is for a challenge on the forum at Digi-ridoo Scraps - you can check out the forum challenge  HERE

Updating my Blog

Wow... I did not realise that I have not added anything here since March.
Lots have been happening so I thought it time I updated this blog.
Towards the end of last month I decided to become more involved at Digi-ridoo Scraps and this lead me to apply for two different digi jobs. The first one I was accepted for was for to be part of the Forum Team for a designer called "Truman Studio"  so you will eventually see some pages using Aly's kits.
The second job I applied for was to be part of a CT for Scrap-a-holic Designs which is a designer who mostly designs templates so watch out for pages using Anna's templates.

On top of these two things I also won a guest spot on the CT for Digi-ridoo Scraps which has been a lot of fun. These will be the first pages I will share after this posting.  The guest spot is only for May. I don't think I would have the time to be a permanent CT for the store as well as the other two jobs I have.

Under the Sea - digital kit by Chocolate Geranium Digital Designs

This week I had the thrill of being invited to work with a Digital Designers newest kit - Under the Sea by Chocolate Digital Designs.

It is such a fun kit and great for using with photos of children swimming or at the beach.

These are the two layout I put together using the kit.
The kit is for sale at Digi_ridoo Scraps

Charity kit for Queensland Flood Appeal

You can purchase the charity kit for the Queensland Flood Appeal at ScrapbookBytes

Free Mini Kit - Friends

I planned to take part in a Charity Kit called "Friendship" which will be a fund raiser for the Queensland Flood Appeal here in Australia, but I had finished all my designing and checked back to see where I had to send the link to the kit and discovered I was too late as they already had enough designers taking part.
So I thought I would give my little mini kit away and have renamed it "Friends". Once I find out where you can purchase the Charity Kit I will share that here. So if you want more items that will match this kit please check back at a later date.

You can download my little mini kit from HERE

Mary Did You Know

This month the Word challenge at Nuts 4 Digi is to share our favourite Christmas Carol/song. There are a lot that I enjoy but this one stands out. I have shared the first and last verse on this digital page. This song is special to me because of the time I acted the part of Mary at the Cross during Christmas the Full Story which used to be a yearly enactment of the life of Jesus Christ held by the combined Churches of my town leading up to Christmas. This song played in the background of the scene I acted in. Playing the part of Mary witnessing the death of her son and listening to the words of this song made me realise how much pain and confusion Mary would have felt.
I will share a Utube of the song.

Credits for my digital page is: a lovely kit called "Season of Joy" by Just Passin Thru.
